This one was sitting rather lonely on a depleted shelf in the Valentin bookbox.
A semi-epistolary "cold case" story flipping between 2011 and 1911 involving disparate elements such as suffragettes, fairies, an unconsummated marriage, theosophy, murder and more - with interesting characters, in an English country rectory.
The only thing I can say on the negative side is that sometimes the maid, Cat, came out with expressions that didn't seem quite right, such as "sibling rivalry", even though she was well educated by her "Gentleman" father.
