The delightful story of Sara Crewe, who on the death of her father discovers that rather than being fabulously wealthy she is penniless and forced to stay on as a mistreated servant at her boarding school. Sara is determined to behave as a princess should no matter what her circumstances. One of my childhood favourites.

Hope I am doing this right as I am a first timer - book found today, what a delight. Looking forward to reading this with my daughter before releasing it on its journey.
