This is a truly wonderful book and I only wish the original member who released it had identified her or himself so I could tell how very much I had enjoyed the book AND how much I learned about our marvelous country. As a city dweller, I have been so ignorant of the truly wondrous wild life that abounds in our wilderness areas and at the age of 90, it is about time that I should learn about it. Read and enjoy.

Lawrence describes the country and wildlife of Ontario as I have never imagined and could not put the book down until I had finished it. A whole new world of the life of birds, animals, plants, insects and fish and how they relate to man is absolutely fascinating, educational and lots of fun. I recommend this book and know the next reader will love it oo.
