The White Lioness: A Kurt Wallander Mystery (3)

I have only read one of Mr. Mankell's books, but not because I did not want to. My disability prevents me from reading most of his books, but this one was published in English, so I was able to read it.
I have watched many of his Kurt Wallander Mysterys on the International Mystery channel. They are also all in Swedish but I am getting good at reading English subtitles. If this book was made into a motion picture, I have not yet seen it. In that case, I would assume that there would be Swedish as well as English subtitles because many of the characters in this book speak languages other than Swedish (some actually in English, but Afrikaner and Russian were also the language of some of the most important characters).
As with all of Mr. Mankell's works, this one follows a plot line that is pretty well unpredictable to the very end. I was reasonably sure that Kurt Wallander would not be killed in this story, because he has to be around for some of the books which had not yet been written when this one was published. I was not so certain about some of the other characters in this book. There were some very innocent people who were killed in this book including a policeman.
I am going on a mission to find other Mankell books that have been published in English for the monolinguistly impaired.
