Bought in a Hebden Bridge charity shop.
This book left me feeling quite stunned. It's so sad, but at the same time delightful to read. I really liked the protagonist's voice. I could relate to her compulsive facetiousness.
Will be reading more by Lorrie Moore in the not-too-distant future.

Sorry not to have done immediate JE - thought I had cured myself of this bad habit!
Very pleased to have picked this up. I loved the story, and I really enjoyed the writing style. A real couldn't-put-downer.
