I Let You Go
2 journalers for this copy...
Part of my 2015 birthday present - one of the Richard & Judy Summer BookClub bundle.
Captivating, even though I was sickened by 'Ian' - not a subject I'd choose to read about and at first I wasn't sure if this was up to Richard & Judy's usual Book Club standard - had it been chosen just for its shock factor?
After completing, I read the Author's 'How it all began' (contains spoilers) and now fully understand how she could put such an evil character across on the page - having been a Police Detective it was probably quite cathartic for Mackintosh.
I also respect her as an author, as she didn't take it for granted that she would have police procedure detail accurate so made sure she asked ex-colleagues.
I loved the setting of this story, Beau and Jenna's artwork.
