A terrible act of violence opens this novel. It involves the murder of a man and most of his family; his four-year old daughter being the sole survivor. She is saved through an act of extraordinary mercy. As an old lady she meets her childhood saviour and has to reappraise her life.

This book is going travelling!

I'm planning to take this book to the USA soon with the intention of reading & then releasing it somewhere in New England. Will update this JE with a review & release details on my return..

In the meantime.....if its currently safe with you, please let us know where you found it!
Thank you :o)

Review:
A short read (less than 90 pages) but quite a powerful one. The first part involves the brutal massacre of Nina's family while she survived hidden from danger. Skip many decades forward & Nina is an elderly woman who tracks down the man who failed/chose not to kill her on that fateful night years ago. This meeting gives an account of two different histories.

I'm not sure I understood either of their actions, especially Nina's at the end but it did seem to complete a circle.

Ooops!!!....BIG apologies if you have input this BCID as you have found an audiobook for Bernard Cornwell's "The Heretic". Sonehow I've used the same number twice - duh! Please feel free to re-register the audio book with a new BCID.
