English Passengers is the well deserving winner of the 2000 Whitbread Book of the Year, and I can't seem to stop reccommending it to everyone. It's funny, well written, sharply observant, and an unforgettable story to boot. A must read for anyone who's dealing with or anticipating a bit of culture shock.

FOUND IT ON SUNDAY 4 APRIL IN THE PITT RIVERS MUSEUM,OXFORD. WHAT A BRILLIANT PLACE TO LEAVE IT! I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO READING IT AND WILL PASS IT ON.
