Given to me to BookCross and I’ve peeked into it only briefly so can say it looks a fiendishly torturous thriller, and given my heaving book plies I decided to pass this straight on. Paretsky’s seventh outing for V.I. Warshawski in this 17th strong series, well as of 2015 anyhow. Got it all labelled up and am releasing it right now at the Aberdeen BookCrossers Meeting, if not picked up it will be left on the OBCZ (Official BookCrossing zone ) book shelf.

Synopsis from Fantastic Fiction: The national bestseller by the author of Burn Marks. When a crotchety 80-year-old starts wrangling with a yuppie couple over the state of the neighborhood, it's up to tough private eye V.I. Warshawski to come to his rescue. And the emotional stew thickens further when the old man's body turns up in a canal and Mr. Yuppie turns out to be a corrupt lawyer.
