If I'd seen this book on a shelf I would never have chosen it for myself - so thanks so much KawasakiBabe for recommending it to me - I would have missed a treat!
It was totally capivating. The only way I can think of to describe this book is that it's like a fairy tale for adults....after all, there's something magical about the way Grenouille manages to mix up his perfumes & potions....but it's much more besides - I don't think I've ever read anything quite like it. The only other thing I can think of to say is I LOVED it!
