4 out of 10

In reading the back of this book, I thought it would be very interesting.
"Hardly more than a child, Anne was torm away from all she loved- from family, Richard, and England- to become the bride of the King's greatest enemy. It seemed she might never return... This is Anne's carefully researched true story, brilliantly reconstructed and illuminated with sunset glory. It is a story pulsing with sadness and love- and the gentle spirit of a women."
I was thought it would be a true account enhanced with a personal backstory. Instead it read like a dry text book. To many people were introduced to quickly and there was much of the story that could have been developed to make it more interesting. The relationships among the people in the story and the actual interesting events within the story were glossed over in order to state as much of a historical account as possible within a small book. This could've been a great hitorical story had the author cared to revisit the events from a more personal perspective.
I will probably do a themed release with this and release it at the Renaissaince Festival in August, if no one request to have it before then.
