This "Inspector Rebus" mystery novel is from about halfway through the series, the Daily Telegraph called it "perhaps the best Inspector Rebus tale". I'm a big fan of this series (I've worked my way through from the beginning), and highly recommend it to any mystery fan. Hope you enjoy the book!

We'll be heading over to this building around 11 a.m. today, and I'll leave the book on a table or near the public telephone in the lobby. While you're there, consider stopping at the small coffee stall - - the guy who runs it is nice, very hard-working, and he makes great coffee!

Have enjoyed Rankin's books before. The more we read the more it sounded just like what has happened within our federal Libs. Corruption & cover ups seem to be the norm in high places??
Got the book from a chiropractos office, will pass it on to the docs office. E & M
