The book has arrived safely in March. I forgot to make the journal entry... Sorry, Ealisaid and thanks for sending it to me!

I found the book rather boring - just as I found 'The Lord of the Rings' boring... Well, this is obiously not my cup of tea.

The book has been offered in a bookrelay and goes to karendawn. Hope, she likes it better... ;-)

7 out of 10

I finished reading this at the end of March and just realized that I hadn't journaled it yet.

There was much to laugh at in this book. Although there were many really wacky things that happened, the parody was never completely disrespectful of the original text. And there were loads of other allusions throughout. But about two-thirds of the way through, the book lost some of its gusto. The jokes were starting to wear a little thin and I was happy to see it brought to a quick conclusion; even so, I really did enjoy most of it.
