I picked this up very inexpensively at the library book sale. Looks amusing!
This is a cute little book. It includes a few witty moments, some parts that might make you say "awww," and even some semi-profound thoughts about the place of technology in our lives. While I didn't find it "laugh out loud" funny, it was a short, sweet read.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
I am sending this surprise RABCK to another BookCrosser whom I think might enjoy it.
The RABCK package arrived today, while I was out delving in the garden on this first truly warm day of the season. Many thanks! This looks like a very amusing book, and should make a tempting wild release once I've read it. (I wonder if it was the inspiration for the movie Her...)
Later: Apparently it was *not* the inspiration for that movie, though the subject matter is similar. The treatment here is amusing, even when it's obvious that our hero has gone off the deep end over his "perfect love". Heck, the title page has him telling Siri "No, really, I love you so much it hurts..." only to have her respond "I found 26 doctors close to you." Made me laugh - though here and there the story does hint that Siri is actually working to improve our hero's love life in the real world.
Along the way there are nods to the various hazards of too much cyber-time, from people getting in accidents through being focused on texting or games to entire cafes full of people ignoring each other while texting/blogging away.
I think my favorite bit was when our hero first tried to meet the programmer behind Siri, whom he assumed must be the model for the Siri program. To nobody's surprise but his, the programmer turns out to be a guy who bears no resemblance to Siri at all, and his reactions were... extreme.
Very entertaining little book, with some cute twists and a few cautionary tales. Thanks for sharing this!
