I received this novel yesterday at a book group discussion of Jodi Picoult's "Sing You Home." One of my friends brought along some of her previously read books to share with those in attendance. She also brought brownies! What a pal! :)

This was a light, easy read in the "chick lit" genre, which is not my usual fare. However, there was enough meat here that at least I didn't feel like it was a completely brainless read.

I found it to be sort of the reading equivalent of a frothy dessert that just slides down between the cracks.

It was well-written enough that I would reach for a book by this author again when I am in the mood for a lighter read.
