This time we have 3 different strings of thrilling stories. Firstly there is the belly bomber, a lunatic, who puts a new kind of bomb (exploding once it gets in contact with stomach acid) into burgers. Secondly Yuki is on her honeymoon, when the situation she is in with her husband changes dramatically. And thirdly Mackie Morales is on the hunt again - this time against Lindsay!
I have the impression (might be wrong of course!) that readers were crumbling away and therefore a threesome wow had to be generated by PAtterson. He accomplishes his goeal, I guess, but the first pages were not too thrilling, as the stories have to work on their magic towards the reader within roughly 100 pages.
Then it gets interesting and I definitely wanted to know, who will survive.

Although the book was a quick read and somewhat entertaining, it lacked the excitement of Patterson’s previous murder club novels. Much of the story centered on improbable, far-fetched and predictable events. It did not have the spark or intrigue.
