Katherine Tyler's cross-country train trip is unexpectedly derailed when she is kidnapped by an unscrupulous band of outlaws. Her worried father calls out the Texas Rangers but only a cowboy named TC Castle knows the bend of South Texas well enough to catch the ringleader responsible. After freeing Katherine, TC spirits her away to his remote ranch where he lives with his handicapped 5-year old daughter, Emily. As their attraction blossoms and with the kidnappers closing on TC and Katherine must risk love and limb to save the ranch and a future Katherine could never have imagined back on the Train from Marietta.
