An interesting read, and I enjoyed it. I have read a few Karin Slaughter books before. They keep you on the edge. This was interesting as it as was a flashback from an earlier incident that related to the incident where two armed men took over the local police station and shot the police chief Jeffrey. Sara the local Pediatrician/ medical examiner, and his ex wife is also involved, as they are trying to get their life back together, they are held hostage in the local police station and it is related to an incident that happened 12 years earlier in Jeffery's home town.
