The eldest son and heir to Castle Leger, Lance St. Leger is plagued by an infernal restlessness that cannot be appeased, perhaps because the family legacy of strange powers is most pronounced in Lance's own dubious lift. He calls it night drifting-his ability to spirit into the night while his body remains behind. And it is on one wild night that he finds Rosalind, a young, sheltered widow who mistakes Lance's "drifting" soul for the ghost of Sir Lancelot. Lance teases and tempts her, fills her with a yearning her chivalrous phantom knight cannot satisfy. But in this place imbued with both true love and otherworldly magic, a new dire portent vows to come full circle. As murderous enemy challenges the St. Leger power, Rosalind must tempt magic herself to save her beloved from the cold depths of eternal damnation.

What is a bookring and how do I get in on it?(thanks go to PHC for her detailed instructions which helped me greatly in understanding the process)

A bookring begins when a bookcrosser decides to send a book on a controlled journey. A list of interested readers is set up and the book passes from one reader who reads it and then sends it along to the person next in line. Eventually the book ends up back in the hands of the original owner which, for this book, will be me, nikel27. A reader can join the bookring at any time unless I decide to close it (if that happens I'll make a note that the ring has closed). Just private message (PM) me and let me know where you are located (city, state & country) and if you are able to ship internationally.

What should I do when I receive the book?
Log on to bookcrossing and type in up journal entry so I know it reached you okay. Then private message (PM) the next person in line to get their mailing address so there will be no waiting once you finish the book, if they do not respond within 10 days PM the next reader in line (and me so I know they are no longer interested). Please read the book within 30 days and when complete add another journal entry with your comments. Tell me the truth :) Was it the best thing you ever read or a complete and utter waste of time? I love to talk to books, the good, the bad and ugly (ugly can sometimes be lots of fun to dissect), you can write one sentence or a hundred. When finished
What if I'm the last in line PM me and I'll send you my mailing address.

Thanks for participating!

Please PM me if would like to be added to the list or have any questions about the book or the bookring!

It wasn´t as good as The Bride Finder but still I loved the way it was written, I mean I just love that old, classy, well written English; however; I didn´t like the fact that Rosalyn was that gullible, I mean no woman is as stupid as to believe into such stories.

Anyway, sent it on January 19th to Aceofhearts.

I agree that the Bride Finder is better and Rosalind is very gullible. I am always thankful that I do not live in a time when women were so stupid. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and was sorry when it ended. I would love to meet the St. Legers.

Received book from International Trading website.

I will read the book again and pass it on to others looking for "something different" to read.

This book is the second in a series about a Father and two sons. Historical Romance with a Paranormal twist.

The premise of this book with the ability to "spirit walk" was very intriguing, however, the characters were not very sympathetic or bright.

Every person I have passed this series to has thouroughly enjoyed it.
