Lottie just knows that her boyfriend is going to propose during lunch at one of London's fanciest restaurants. But when his big question involves a trip abroad. not a trip down the aisle. she's completely crushed. So when Ben. an old flame. calls her out of the blue and reminds Lottie of their pact to get married if they were both still single at thirty. she jumps at the chance. No formal dates-just a quick march to the altar and a honeymoon on Ikonos. the sun-drenched Greek island where they first met years ago.Their family and friends are horrified. Fliss. Lottie's older sister. knows that Lottie can be impulsive-but surely this is her worst decision yet. And Ben's colleague Lorcan fears that this hasty marriage will ruin his friend's career.
The wedding night did drag on somewhat with horrendous things happening. But, the book was quite funny at times.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
This book has been mailed to another bookcrosser as a birthday surprise.
Thank you for the birthday book! I just get the biggest kick out of her books, I can see myself getting into the same jam her characters usually do. Looking forward to reading it.
Happy birthday to you! This is a fun book.
I really enjoy reading Sophie Kinsella books! Thanks for remembering my birthday!

Chose to read this one this month because it met Plum-crazy's "what to read" for May theme of the Royal Wedding. I agree with previous readers that Kinsella was a bit long winded in this one. However, her characters are still fun and doing some totally crazy things. She always makes me laugh.

I am reserving this book for the General Literature VBB.

Not chosen from Gen. Literature VBB. Sending in my Valentine Exchange package.
