Inside the FBI serial crime unit.
Mindhunter enters the minds of some of the country's most notorious serial killers to tell the real-life story of the Investigative Support Unit (ISU) -- the FBI's special force that has assisted state and local police in cracking some of the country's most celebrated serial murder and rape cases.

My book has a different cover to the one shown above.

Yahoo! I caught a book, I caught it in the ISB at the University of Otago, On Thursday 5 February. Thank you Boreal for releasing so many. I was going to deliberately hunt for one but this one just popped up. I am going to read it soon, then my daughter will read it and from there we will release it somewhere. Stay tuned for more info.

Mindhunter was interesting in some parts, however by chapter six I was getting bored with John Douglas' narcissistic personality coming across just as plainly as that of the very serial killers he writes about. Don't get me wrong, the guy seems to have done some great things, unfortunately he knows it and isn't shy about telling others how great he is. This only deserves a five because I learnt more about how the mindhunter's mind works than the serial killers he helps catch. I am sending Mindhunter back out into the wilderness where I hope it will continue its journey.
