This morning my BookCrossing statistics were showing that I'd registered zero books in the past four weeks! Unacceptable! So I've found a couple of nonfictions among those waiting to be read to rectify the situation!
Apparently I've had this one since May 2011, when I picked it up from the charity shelves in our local Argos store, a bookish outlet that has long since disappeared, unfortunately!

Pretty much does what it says on the tin: offers a detailed account of the life and times, politics and scandals, surrounding the extended Lennox family, particularly the four sisters, Caroline, Emily, Louisa and Sarah, in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Interesting and well-researched but rather dense and intense. It's taken me several weeks of picking it up and putting it down to read it all. The concentration required meant I only read it in small doses!
Still, it's good and I'd recommend it.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

This is one of three books I swapped in this red telephone box community library during a lovely dancing holiday near Grange-over-Sands.

Well over a million people around the world give their books a unique BookCrossing IDentity number (BCID) before sending them out to find new readers. Since the start of the scheme in April 2001 over twelve million such books have been put into circulation. This is one of them!

Our hope is that we can track the progress of our books once they've left our hands - and that's possible if finders like you visit the website, key in the BCID and leave a comment, however long or short. It's fun, it doesn't have to cost anything, although the site always appreciates donations towards running costs, and you can remain anonymous if you wish. You don't have to join but if you do you'll be able to number and track your own books!
