I got this book free when I was buying books for my class from Scholastic, but it's a bit too old for my students. Rather than let it sit in a box unread, I thought I'd send it along on its journey, hopefully to find its way into the hands of a young reader somewhere. Enjoy.

I picked this book up at our first BookCrossing meeting at our new OBCZ. I wanted to take ballet lessons as a child but my mother told me I was too tall to be a ballerina. I suspect the real reason was I was already involved in umpteen other activities and my parents couldn't afford any more. But I've been irked by her lame excuse ever since. And every once in a while when my mother suggests we kids had it pretty good, I remind her that I never got to take ballet lessons.

I intend to release this book to the LFL but I might have to read it first just to give me more ammunition for my next round with my mom. According to the blurb on the back it appears that ballet gives one strength to survive and realize ones dreams. Sorry mom. Thanks K-i-s-m-e-t!
