This book was handed to me by eibia.
Read it in my hotelroom and realy! It is a very funny childs book!
I like childs books.
As eibia told me she doesn't like to leave books in the wild on the street or so, I'll handle it with care.
Perhaps in one of my obcz's?

Even verder in het Nederlands, als er nog meer deelnemers intekenen komen die ergens tussen Anicha en Camperfan. Anicha wil wel naar België sturen, Rodespringbal kan in Nederland posten. dat was inderdaad een blije uil :-) Mijn lach schalde door het trappenhuis toen ik mijn brievenbus opende. Wat een leuke tekst op de envelop! Dankjewel. Nu het boek nog, maar dat komt vast ook wel goed.Ik ga er snel aan beginnen :-)

met veel plezier gelezen, hoe kan de schrijver het toch allemaal bij elkaar verzinnen. Of zou hij zelf zo'n oma gehad hebben? Ik denk dat er nog een lezeres tussendoor vliegt, erven uitgaande dat Aaltsje daar geen bezwaar tegen heeft natuurlijk.

dus granny gaat gewoon op pad naar de volgende op de lijst, Inge1990. Het lukt mij niet om een loslaatbericht te maken, dus dan maar even zo. Morgen ga ik naar het postkantoor.

What a fun book, how does he think about everything? In Gangsta granny Ben needs to go to his grandma every friday so his parents have some time alone. All good you think, except that Ben thinks is granny is boring as nothing ever has been boring before! Well when your 11 (almost 12) I can imagine that playing scrabble with your granny is not exactly what you would plan to do on a Friday evening ;). And she smells of cabbage!
One day Ben calls his parents in the night to pick him up at grannies places because he 'dies' of boredom.
Sadly granny overhears this.. But then the fun begins... Granny turns out to be a real gangsta and the two of them come closer together :)
This book is full of fun anecdotes and the ease in which it is written is just so great, it is a childsbook but full of emotional paragraphs that even adults will feel. Apperently there is also a movie about this book and I think it will be really funny to watch. Al this said without spoiling a lot of the fun stuff in the book (you just really have to read it!) I really can recommend this book to everybody who just want a easy read :)

This was a great book! Wonderful writing - and what an imagination! Laugh-out-loud funny and yet there are some serious issues in there too. Very glad I read this - thank you for sharing!

So very very sorry about the delay. After returning from my holiday I fell ill with the flu and couldn't read for a while. But now I started and finished the book. What a fun read!
And at the same time a quite endearing story.

Yes, Granny arrived here safely, two days ago, but only now I found the time to let you all know. I'm really looking forward to reading this book, but first I have to finish reading about another grey person: Hendrik Groen aged 80-something ;o)) If Granny is as fun as Hendrik is, we will have a good time together!
