Picked up at the Book Stop on Jackson Road. I've read a couple of Wyndham's, but not thins one so looking forward to reading it. Also hope to get back to add more books to the Book Stop!

This is probably more horror, than SF, though I think most of Wyndham's works have a horror element. This seemed slighter than some of his more well known works ( e.g. The Chrysallids, Day of The Triffids), but to be honest, it's so long ago since I read these, I can't compare them properly. The premise of the book is not that original, but to be fair, it was published almost 40 years ago, and book 10 years after Wyndham's death, so 1) it is quite old and 2) it is not clear he ever intended it for publication. Interesting from a historical perspective, but not groundbreaking in today's context.
