Hello and welcome to my bookbox journal.
Please feel free to write whatever you want in it but I would appreciate your name (can be what you are known as on here or your actual name), where you are and the date but none of that is essential.

1. There must be a minimum of three books in the box. You may take out and put in as many as you wish as long as when you post it there are at least three books in there. They must also be of different authors to keep some variety to the box.
2. None of us will be expecting brand new books but the rule of thumb here will be IF you would be happy to receive it in its current condition then feel free to put it in. If you wouldn't then please don't, it's just courtesy.

This went in the post today, happy reading to all the future recipients!
Good timing. This arrived today on the last day of my holidays so no trip to the post office will be needed. On the down side, I took all my available books to the Convention so I'm not sure what I will put in. I know I have some duplicates on my shelf so that is tomorrow's job. Or (and), I spend all day tomorrow finishing the book I'm reading now.
The box arrived safely at mine, today. THANK YOU! I have already chosen two books that I am taking out, but I am not yet sure, what I will put in... So there comes the surprise then...

Hubby picked it up from the Post Office for me yesterday - I was away again!! Unplanned work related though.
Unfortunately the Post Office has managed to batter the box enough for it to split open. It came with an apology inside a polythene bag :(
I don't know if any of the books have gone missing - there are seven left and the journal log is still here too.
One bookcrossing sticker remains too, I am going to swap that one out :)
Have made my choices and replacements and found a less battered box. Hope to get it on its way again at the weekend.

Picked up from the sorting office today, have made my choice and will get n to the next person this week
This arrived a couple of days ago, and I have at least one book to contribute - but I'm not going to be able to do that at least until I get back from a surprise trip London in 5 days time.
Additionally, the box and the tape were so confusing that I had to rip the box to get in, and I can't work out how to put it back together! So I'm gonna have to find a new box somehow. Good morning, the book box has arrived safely with me, not the big box of badges i was expecting for camp, but a parcel that has made me smile nonetheless.
I shall give it a peruse when I get a chance and try and get it moved on before I disappear away for a weekend camping with 170 beaver scouts, their parents and leaders. If It's not gone by Thursday then it will have to wait until after the weekend I'm afraid.

My bad, things round here got just a little bit manic. Anyway I'm busy away with work until Wednesday night but posting this book box on Thursday is the second job on my to-do list.
The Beaver camp went well - 170 very happy and excitable beavers and their tired parents had a brilliant time all thanks to the 50 leaders who were on hand to make sure everything ran swimmingly. I was so exhausted that I struggled to muster up the required energy for Download the following weekend where I got sun burnt and worried about getting trenchfoot all in the same 24 hours!
I've taken out 3 books and already journalled them but only added 2 to keep the weight under 2kgs. The books I've added are different and hopefully keeping the generic feel to the box going. Thank you for letting me participate (even if I accidentally kept it too long).
