i bought this book on a second hand stall at a Sunday market somewhere long the coast road from Melbourne to Adelaide when I was in Australia last year. I started it but didn't take to it. Now sending it to the bookcrossing convention in OXFORD where it may take one someone's fancy. If not it will be wild released in Oxford somewhere.

The book arrived today. Thank you very much for the RABCK!
This was good summer reading! I like Phryne Fisher, she's a great character. In this book the murder case was interesting, as well as the characters in the house where the deceased lived and in the magazine where she worked. I was not that interested in the Chinese pirates subplot, although I learned something new, but Phryne's daring rescue mission was cool.
I'm going to ask if my bookcrossing friend Appelsiini wants to read this, too.
