The first book in the Detective Lane series, set in Calgary and written by a Calgarian. I enjoyed picturing the locations of the events in my mind's eye, looking for discrepancies, and enjoying the mystery.

It was interesting to read a book set in my home town. I could picture the places they were going but wished that rather than "name drop" they described the areas a bit better.
Thanks rureading!

I am taking this book to our monthly bookcrossers meet up at Cravings - the second Saturday of every month- to pass on to the next reader.
Picked up at the Bookcrossing meeting today. Adding to MT. TBR
This is a short and mostly satisfying mystery that I read in a day. I enjoyed the local setting, but found the narrative to be clunky at times. Still a decent enough read and I wanted to finish it.
I will be taking this one back to the Calgary Bookcrossing group to find a new reader.

OOOPs - I missed journaling this one. Sorry. It is now read and it was a fun read. I found myself trying to get the map in my head and twist it around as I realized which way they were going. Fun characters.
I am taking this to the March meetup at Cravings.
I got this book from our last meeting in September and haven't read yet.
