You may choose to remain anonymous or to join (it's free! – if you do join, please consider typing my name –Doodleali– in the referral box). Feel free to read and keep this book, or to pass it on to a friend or even set it free "in the wild" for someone else to find as you did. If you do choose to join and journal, then you can watch the book as it travels - you'll be alerted by email each time someone makes another journal entry. It's all confidential (you're known only by your screen name and no one is ever given your email address), free, and spam-free. Happy reading!

Thanks. Enjoyed this biography.
I checked my BC shelf & I read a lot of her Regency romances in 2004 - 2006 but no crime.
I've now got Penhallow & Why Shoot the Butler? http://www.bookcrossing.com/journal/8131437

I stopped to drop off a couple of books at the Official BookCrossing Zone within the Trinity Shopping Centre in Leeds this morning and couldn't resist the temptation to bring a couple away with me as well :-) Well, you have to, don't you?
I chose this one because I've previously enjoyed several novels by this author but know very little about her life. I'm assuming that this will enlighten me - and hopefully entertain me at the same time!
I aim to read at least two nonfictions a month. This will be added to the pile but I can't promise when its turn might come, perhaps some time in the summer ....

That was good! Detailed yet easy to read, in a style that held this reader's attention.

Left with the other books on the book swap shelves in this delightful cafe this afternoon. I was pleased to see how well-stocked they are at the moment!

Over a million people around the world give their books a unique BookCrossing IDentity number (BCID) before sending them out to find new readers. Since the start of the scheme in April 2001 more than ten million such books have been put into circulation. This is one of them!

Our hope is that we can track the progress of our books once they've left our hands - and that's possible if finders like you visit the website, key in the BCID and leave a comment, however long or short. It's fun, it doesn't have to cost anything, although the site always appreciates donations towards running costs, and you can remain anonymous if you wish. You don't have to join but if you do you'll be able to number and track your own books!
