I adored the anime series about this mild-mannered but very resourceful professor/hostage-negotiator/archaeologist, and was delighted when the manga became available in English. I ordered this volume from Barnes and Noble.
This is another collection of tales that highlight Keaton's skills in many different areas, from an insurance case involving a stolen Olympic medal to a tale where his weapons skills help him assist a man who's fleeing from assassins. There's a multi-part story with a werewolf-myth theme and a scene set at the Avebury stone circle (I've been there!), with a delightfully twisted plot. And there's a tale in which Keaton's father has the main role, doing some clever detecting of his own regarding a rare blue flower - and an amusing scene in homage of "Casablanca"!
There are lots of nice little touches here and there, including a scene where Keaton meets a young researcher who credits him with inspiring his choice of career. Sweet! And later on Keaton gets to meet his most inspirational teacher in a very touching and unexpected moment.
[There's a TV Tropes page on the series.]
