Thank you Vita13! You seem to have left a huge trail of books everwhere while visiting WA! All quiet around us now. This is not the type of genre that I read but I will pass it on. There are only a few books registered on bookcrossing so here is a goodreads link for some thoughts from other readers on the book.

PIcked this up at the recent Perth BC Meetup. I've enjoyed KSR's other books ( particularly the 'Mars' trilogy) and this has had good buzz, so I am looking forward to reading it!!

I really loved this book! It has the same scale of time and space as the Mars trilogy, but the clever inclusion of a 'murder mystery', plus a (relatively) few protagonists made it feel more intimate or human. I loved the tech and would really love it if humans were sufficiently advanced in 300 odd years to be close to that level ( even if Earth is not doing so well!!). I will be keeping this for a little while longer, as I think my partner would enjoy reading it.
