Love this series~ lookin' forward to another good read :)
OK, I don't know if this is a 10 star mystery, but it was for me! I love Barr's Anna Pigeon series, some more than other, primarily as I find some of the NPs more intriguing than others.
This one, set in a largely unexplored wild cave in Carlsbad NP just blew me away! Loved, loved, loved the descriptions of the caves, equipment, and process, and realize this is partly because it takes me back decades to caving in West Virginia ;) Long enough ago that we didn't wear battery-lit helmets~~ours were carbide lamps~~lol.
The mystery was good too, and the environmental aspects. I've offered this on btg's mystery vbb in the hopes it will soon find another excited reader~~
