This is a book that I had growing up.. I read it about 30 times. 20 yrs later and I still remember how much I loved it. I decided to track a copy down and ordered it.. I am going to try rereading it to see if I still love it. I may decide to ring it at some point.. but I am not sure. From the jacket: As far as Jenny was concerned, it was all settled. She'd saved every penny in the past year to have enough money for lessons-it was her thirteenth summer and she was going to spend it learning to jump on the beautiful horse, Cinnabar. But at the last moment her parents had to travel to Asia on business. Jenny learns she must go to wyoming to her grown-up cousin, Lorelei, whom she hardly knows. Jenny's disappointment is hard to bear.. ... Okay, tired of typing, so, I'll just ad lib. She finds a horse in an old barn and takes it in.. She takes care of it, and falls in love with it.. Eventually (after she's done tons of work with it) the original owner trys to claim it..
