Picked up at Oxfam in Earls Court. Just another childrens novel I never got around to reading. Making up for lost time.

I started reading this book last year (or was it the year before?). I truly wanted to like it much more than I actually did as it had all the elements of adventure, freedom and larking around on boats which usually do it for me. I think I maybe missed the reading boat on this one though and am way too old and over another era to actually have enjoyed this book. Meanwhile I'll continue to lark around on my own boat (I live on a Narrowboat) and having real life adventures.
