Ah, what would cozy mysteries do without small town festivals? Here the Pumpkin Bash is at the center of attention, and Candy Holiday is hoping her haunted hay ride through a pumpkin field will help pay the bills. Unfortunately, the field is a little too haunted.

Good cozy, but not really memorable -- except for the epilogue, which hints that things are more complicated than they appear.

Got this through the first lines game at the BCinDC holiday party today. I honestly don't think I'll ever get around to reading it, so I'll pass it along.

I found this book at the gas pumps on the way to work this morning. I almost left it but my curiosity got the better of me. When I read the label on the inside cover, I had to take it. I wanted to make sure it continued on it's travels and did not end up in the trash bin. Even though it is not really a book I probably would have picked for myself, I think I will go ahead and give it a read simply because of the way it came to be in my hands.
