I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this little book. From the back blurb and the front cover inspected it to be silly in parts. Instead I got a story that few me I. To thewod of Refuge and the struggle between human colonists and the indigenous humanoid inhabitants of the planet. There were some really nice tones of industry vs ecology woven throughout the plot as well as the idea of people being inferior because they are different in looks, culture and lifestyle than those coming to the planet as colonists.
