Journal Entry 1 by TeaConnoisseur from Fairview, Oregon USA on Tuesday, January 27, 2004
Emily Bronte has a way of putting into words the depth of human nature and personalities. I was sometimes mystified by Heathcliffe and Cathy's behavior and at other times repulsed. I'm still not sure if I like the Bronte sisters writing. But as a classic, it is worth reading and wrestling with. Pity was evoked from me regarding the main characters but the hope for the next generation I applaud.
