Journal Entry 1 by futurecat from Christchurch, Canterbury New Zealand on Saturday, November 8, 2014
I didn't enjoy this as much as Anansi Boys, but I think that's just because it was a bit slow to get going. Once it did hit its stride, though, it was great - a lot of fun, a lot of crazy ideas, and a lot of keep-the-pages-turning tension.

This edition is the "author's preferred edition", restoring material that was trimmed by the editor. I haven't read the original, so I don't know how much it differs from it, but I wonder if my feeling that the first half drags a little is related to text that would have been better left out?

Journal Entry 2 by discoverylover at Wellington City, Wellington Province New Zealand on Monday, November 16, 2015
I've read this before, but Neil Gaiman's one of my favourite authors, and I don't *think* I've read the preferred text version, so I'll quite happily re-read it! Thanks FC!
