The world is filled with too many books to hold onto! And now that I have found someone with similiar taste, how could I not trade?

So onwards to our noble deaths! (actually manga title! ;) )

The box arrived safely on this bitterly-cold day, just ahead of yet another snowstorm; many thanks! I've been wanting to dip into this series for some time, and this should give me a good taste.

Later: There's some lovely artwork here, including the beautiful characters (whether gods or humans) and the awesome moving-mountain (made me think of the lion-turtle in "Avatar: the Last Airbender"). The story, though - I dunno, perhaps my tolerance for angsty "you must kill me if you want to find your beloved" scenes has lessened over the years, and I found myself wanting to shake everyone concerned. Perhaps the series should be called "beautiful people crying" {wry grin}.
