A few of these stories, like 'Talisman' and 'Marking the Goddamn Spot', were breathtaking. Unfortunately, I was frequently distracted by the sloppy proofreading- homonyms substituted for the correct word, names spelled differently in one sentence than in the one before... it's as if they relied exclusively on a spell-checker, rather than an actual knowledge of spelling and grammar.
