Four women, three generations undergo a crisis when the youngest of them, the adopted daughter Ari, goes into a downward spiral. Her mother Charlie and her aunt Les have their own difficulties, too. Their mother, known as Gran, adds to the problem. Will the relationships survive as the bonds of love are tested? Told from each person's perspective , it is a tale of cultural differences even within the same family.
