I bought this book shortly after my mother died in '93. Ten years later and I've yet to read it.

You might say that me bumping into this book, was a coincidence, but my heart tells me otherwise. I happened upon this book quite by chance, in a ladies room of all places. I had traveled to Jacksonville, Florida to visit a dear friend of mine (and my mother's) we managed to get lost and wound up at a coffee shop named 'Sipper's Coffee.' We sat there for over an hour sipping coffe and sharing our stories, as well as our tears and fond memories of my mother. You see, my mother, recently passed away. It was when I went into the ladies room to retrieve some kleenex, that I saw this book on a small table nestled in the corner of the room. I was quite amazed and awed by the title ...
"Motherless Daughter's" but more amazed as to the unique timing of me bumping into it. I'd never heard of bookcrossing, or the novel idea of leaving a book somewhere for someone to happen upon, but I know I will enjoy and carry on the tradition! I hope I can touch someone in much the same way and I look forward to reading this book and passing it on. Thanks,Riding Reader, I think this book is just what I needed at this time.
