Picked this up for a little Hallowe'en bookcrossing.
And off it goes to my Hallowe'en exchange partner. Hope they haven't read this one!
Thank you very much, you made my day :)! So far, I have only read one book by this author ("Never the bride") but I loved it and so I am looking forward to reading this one. And the chocolate you included is soooo delicious, thanks a lot! Happy Halloween to you!
A very fine read, I loved it very much! As weird as I expected after the first book I have read from this author, but also a quite witty modern tale with a witch, an effigy that comes into life, a wannabe vampire king and a strange bookshop specialising in vintage and antique books... Also a pleasure to read for lovers of old books, though it is a certain old book, a "grimoire", that plays a quite sinister role in this story...

Thank you! The book arrived safely today, sounds interesting :)
March 2016: Oh, I forgot to mention how I liked the book! Well, it was definitely entertaining. And more bloody than expected from the pinkblueblack cover. Of course there were some funny scenes, too, especially when it came to the bride but it does noch belong into the "vampire chicklit"-category.
There were quite a few interesting characters in the book. Some carefully introduced ones weren't a big part of the story anymore later which still left room for speculations during the story and an the end, too.
