This is the first book I've read by Christopher Moore and he reminds me a lot of the author Carl Hiaasen.
Tuck, the private pilot for a cosmetic company, makes some bad decisions and finds himself without a job and the FAA is breathing down his neck. When choosing fight or flight, Tuck opts for running away as far as he can and ends up on a Microsnesian Island as the pilot for a missionary. As soon as Tuck arrives on the island (and recovers from his travels to the island) he realized the "missionary" is a cover story yet doesn't exactly know *what* is being covered up. With some quick thinking and help from the island natives, Tuck saves the day (and the island natives).

Waiting for me at the post office when I returned from vacation. Thanks Aberpeter!
This is the first book I have read by this author. Moore's writing reminded me of Hiaasen's. A cast of zany, over the top characters and situations. An entertaining read.
