You can always rely on Nora Roberts for a good read &, while IMHO, this wasn't one of her best, this tale of witches & magick was certainly fun....just accept it & go with the flow & enjoy :o)

The story moves at a fast pace & I'd have like it to have gone a bit slower to give me a chance to get to know the characters better & it was missing the will-they-won't-they banter that Roberts does so well. Still there's two other potential couples in the offing - oh c'mon Branna & Fin are soooo gonna end up together!! - & I'm looking forward to seeing how the group finally defeat Cabhan.

I've never read any Nora Roberts before, but I found this book quite an easy read. I wasn't too sure of the plot and the characters. It did confuse at times. I felt that there was not enough character description and as a reader, I had no connection to any of the key players in this book. I liked the Irish connection and the witchery element.
