Picked up from the holiday party for BC in DC. The first sentence was: Good manners and etiquette are extremely useful to know.
Placing in the Little Free Library. Cute book on cat behavior with watercolor drawings.
1/2/2018- made it to the end of the LFL cycle. Giving to a friend.

Ixion gave me this a couple months ago. I read the first quarter of it or so and skimmed the rest. I think I've gotten to the point where I've simply read all the jokes about cat ownership there are. The illustrations are darling, though.

This book looks very cute. I really must read it!
Thank you so much for sharing this book with me at the Springfield, Virginia, Starbucks* meetup of BCinDC.
* I tried the "blonde" coffee today at Starbucks. It tastes as bad as all other Starbucks coffee. :(

This book is so sweet and funny. The way it was written, as a guide to etiquette told directly to cats, was just perfect. Some excerpts are laugh-out-loud hilarious!
I could see my own feral cat in the directions to "avoid meowing incessantly for no reason". Plus, now I know from where she adapted this piece of advice: "If your offering at mealtimes are not up to scratch, it is perfectly acceptable to walk off in disgust."
I'd recommend this book for anyone's cat...and even for those cats' owners!
I'm saving this book to give to my daughter who, together with her boyfriend, are owned by three cats.
