Love isn't an exact science - but no one told Don Tillman. A thirty-nine-year-old geneticist, Don's never had a second date. So he devises the Wife Project, a scientific test to find the perfect partner. Enter Rosie - 'the world's most incompatible woman' - throwing Don's safe, ordered life into chaos. But what is this unsettling, alien emotion he's feeling?
This is one of my favourite books this year. I had so much trouble keeping a straight face on the train while reading it. Part of the plot is set at the university at which I studied (and now work) so I enjoyed that aspect too.
I went to a talk by Graeme Simsion with Jean-Sol, another bookcrosser, earlier this week so had this copy signed by the author. This Not So RABCK will be sent very soon; I hope the recipient enjoys it as much as I did.
Sent as a (Not So) RABCK today.
A book and author I haven't heard about, my favourites!
And a signed copy as well. You spoil me my friend.

This was such a good laugh.
Brilliantly written, and I could easily visualize Don on his quest to find the perfect partner. A lot of socially inept people always makes a book entertaining. In real life, though, I find that they make life interesting.
