Excellent. Leonid McGill was a little sketchy in the first book, but he is now solid in my mind.
Ex confidence man/PI trying to do right, and make up for his past. Leonid gets a case he can't turn down from a shadowy underworld figure, and it really makes him choose what he will and will not do. Taut writing, good characterization.
