The night the first snow falls a young boy wakes to find his mother gone. He walks through the silent house, but finds only wet footprints on the stairs. In the garden looms a solitary figure: a snowman bathed in cold moonlight, its black eyes glaring up at the bedroom windows. Round its neck is his mother's pink scarf.

Loved it! A really good gripping read that had me hooked throughout though I had worked out some of the connections earlyish on (not saying which ones as don't want to drop any spoilers for future readers!)
Harry is such a credible character & I really liked Katrine Bratt, especially her slightly cocky attitude, & it makes me hope that I'll come across her again. And was I reading more into the mould man than was really there? Well, I guess I'll have to wait & see on both scores - can't wait for the next instalment....
