A great history book - so much was happening in 1912......Ty Cobb, the Titanic....and - who knew? ....opening Fenway Park for the socks. I enjoyed learning about the "Royal Rooters". The CD is loaded with great footage - sometimes daunting - I couldn't watch it in one sitting.....over to my bud Don Wells from New Hamburg - and then back to me Don if you could for another friend......
Wow! Thanks for this opportunity to see this book and dvd. I visited this park this past summer and watched our Jays beat the Sox!! I also went on the guided tour of Fenway which was terrific and fascinating. There is something of a museum in it as well. From Fenway, we travelled to Cooperstown to see the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Thanks, Mike. Do you want this back when I'm done?
